Microteaching : Reading
To provide scan reading practice using a text about Endangered animals in the context of saving nature
To provide practice and clarification of animals lexis in the context of saving nature
To provide clarification of future in the context of saving nature
Procedure (23-34 minutes)
The teacher asks some questions about animals.
The teacher pre-teach some new vocabs.
- The teacher gives the students 3 minutes to read the "Multiple choice " and "True-False " questions. -The teacher shows the pictures and asks students to guess the topic.
-The teacher gives students 5 minutes to read the text. -The teacher shows the slide and questions together and asks students to scan the text together and find the answer. - The teacher asks students to reread the text and guess the definition of underlined words by the teacher.
-The teacher shows the "Matching" questions and asks groups to match them in turn. -The teacher asks general questions about animals and encourages students to talk in English using words in the text.
