Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Look at the picture and answer the questions: Where is the girl? What is she doing? Why? Why do we grow plants?

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

Listen to the text, then answer the questions: 1 Where are Dad and Seleem? 2 What are they talking about? 3 What do they want to do next?

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

Watch the videos about planting, then complete the tasks. The germination process

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Work with your partner to answer the questions about different habitats. Then search about the most beautiful flower and find out why do farmers grow sunflowers. Send your answers on the Whatsapp group
