Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Ice breakers: Are you interested in celebrities/who are the celebrities in your countries? why/why not

Pre-Teach Vocabulary (10-12 minutes) • To teach learners new words from text and cover meaning form and pronunciation

Ask learners what these words mean and to pronounce them: (Google Slides) avoid, avoids was bullied recognised made up my mind

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

Learners to read the text to get an idea, answer questions on p. 3 Google Slides in OCFB.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

Ask learners to individually answer questions on Google Forms. Check answers in pairs in BORs.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

Learners to discuss contents of text and answer final questions on Google Slide in OCFB.
