Description

In this lesson ,students will learn about using infinitive to talk about their dreams and future. The lesson will start with a song with this form .This is followed by an exercise to test their feedback. Then focus to the form and how to use it with some examples and questions. finally free practice via a speaking activity .

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

let the students listen to a song ( I like to move it ) Discuss about the form giving them an exercise to complete as the song example

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

clarify the concept showing the form convey MFP with some examples and situation Then present the ppp with some exercises to work in pairs and discuss answers and correct mistakes.

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

Help students to use the form in negative and interrogative form give examples and ask them to join an activity to check their understanding .

Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

Ask the students to listen to some sentences and repeat it and work together and highlight the form .

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Divid the students in groups in breakout rooms and ask the use the given words to have discussion together by asking questions and give answers .
