Main Aims

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To engage learners and activate their previous knowledge of topic area

Teacher will show students two questions: Do you think you are a good student? In your opinion, what's a bad student? Teacher will say something like : When I was a student I was not the best student since I normally didn't study before the exam, but now I realize that a bad student is the one who doesn't care if he or she learns. What about you x?

Exposure (5-8 minutes) • Create a task that exposes learners to the TL

Students will listen to the track and complete the sentences.Teacher will send the handout If I _____, I'm going to have a big party! If I __ ___ soon, I'll miss the deadline. I might fail the year if she ____ ____ more time. If the questions ___ too hard, I might be OK. After this teacher will show the answers to the students can compare their answers.

Clarification (10-12 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Teacher will show the ideas from the previos slide but now with these 3 questions, teacher will ask these to specific students: Are the students talking about the present or the future? Future Are the events possible or certain to happen? Possible What tenses are in the if clause? Present tense Look at the sentences and complete We use if+ subject + _____ to talk about a possible situation in the future. We use future form to talk about the result of the situation. In the next slide teacher will make the form of the idea "I might fail the year if she doesn't give me more time" with students and highlight there's no comma Teacher will give ss a handout where they have to put the correct form the the other ideas, they will have 4 minutes, then teacher will show them the answers. Students check their answers Teacher will see pronunciation one by one, teacher will show one idea, say it, ask : where're the stress? Students will name some, teacher will show them, repeat half the idea and students repeat, repeat the complete idea and ask x students to repeat, That it's the procedure for all of the ideas. Teacher will correct if ss have trouble with some words,

Controlled Practice (7-10 minutes) • to assess the target language accurately.

Teacher will give handout to students. Students need to circle the best option to form the sentence, they will work individually, students will have 3 minutes, then they will check with a classmate , they will have 3 minutes Teacher will conduct OCFB

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

The next slide contains random words but related to study, students have to create their own ideas based on their experience, teacher will say the first: If I pay more attention to the details I am going to pass tnis course with an "A". Students will work in pairs (5 min) if they have more time they will switch partners. After that teacher will conduct DEC. Good or bad ideas
