Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-T starts the session with a game. The game is about the teacher, he writes some words for the ss to ask about, and the ss need to guess the answers. Ex: T writes on the board the following words: age, born in, grew up in, studies at. took courses in. Ss try to guess this information about their teacher. -T asks ss to start playing the same game in pairs.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

*Note: Before starting the exposure stage; the teacher is free to teach/elicit any vocabularies if he thinks they’re useful to the ss. Ss watch some videos about people getting asked some questions related to the topic (Interview).

Useful Language (13-15 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

-T provides some helpful answers to the questions; therefore, Ss can use and adjust these questions to fit their answers.

Productive Task(s) (10-15 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

T asks the Ss to start writing their adjusted answers to the questions. However, they would do it in groups of 4, so they can help each other and generate more ideas. -T keeps monitoring and helping the students who struggle. -After they finish, T asks each student to discuss his/her answers with another student from a different group.

Feedback and Error Correction (5-5 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

-T starts giving feedback and correcting the students' answers. -T informs the ss that their assignment for the next session is to prepare 5 questions
