LP TP3 MOHAMMAD ALHAMAD
By the end of this lesson, ss will have practised adjectives in the context of describing appearances and feelings.
To practise listening and reading for specific information
Procedure (27-47 minutes)
Focus students' attention on the PowerPoint pictures and try to elicit as much information from them as possible. For example: Who is very tall, quite tall, and not tall?
Ss will read the two accompanying short texts. Then, they will guess the identity of the two people.
Ss will look at three different photos in the PowerPoint, and then identify who is very tall, quite tall, and not very tall.
In pairs, ss will match the appearance adjective on the left with the suitable picture on the right. Then will also respond to "How tall are they?" by using quite, very, and not very in front of an adjective.
Students will practice in pairs. Each will write 5 clues and the other student should guess who this is.
