Description

in this class the students are going to learn how to describe their house through speaking and using furniture lexical items.

Materials

Abc zoom
Abc Zoom's board
Abc Worksheet about the objects of the house.
Abc A power point presentation about the parts of the house.

Main Aims

  • The students will learn the parts of the house and the object on it to improve their language skills.

Subsidiary Aims

  • To learn how to describe a house.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Ask the students how does their house look like.

1st cycle - writing and speaking. (20-25 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

Pre - Task: Ask the students if they know the parts of the house and say them. While - task: Teach the students in a power point presentation the parts of the house and the most common object on them. Post - task: The students will solve a work sheet where they will have to circle the correct name for some objects.

2nd cycle - writing and speaking. (20-25 minutes) • To check that the goal of the class was achieved.

Pre - taks: teach the studnets how to describe their house. While - task: The students are going to draw their houses. Pos - task: The studnets will say the descriptions of their houses.

Cooler (8-10 minutes) • To finish the lesson.

Make sure that the students understood the lesson bye asking them some questions.
