Description

In this lesson the students are going to learn how to express their feelings and say how they feel at the moment using some lexical items.

Materials

Abc A quiz about the months of the year and the days of the week
Abc zoom
Abc Power point presentation a the feelings
Abc Feelings stickers
Abc Worksheet about the feelings

Main Aims

  • The students will know how to express their feelings.

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide practice of feelings in the context of how do you feel.

Procedure

Warm up (6-10 minutes) • To activate student's previous knowledge.

The students will solve a quiz about the days of the week and the months of the year in a power point presentation

1st cycle - writing and speaking. (20-25 minutes) • To start engaging students in to lexical items.

Pre - task: ask the students how do they feel? and to tell you some feeling and emotions that they know. While - task: teach the students how to say the basic feeling and emotions, also teach them how to answer the question how do you feel? with I am... Post task: Ask the students to say how they feel one by one.

2nd cycle - writing, speaking and listening. (20-25 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific task about the lexical items they have

Pre- task: The student will solve a worksheet where they will have to select the correct feeling for each face. While - task:The students are going to solve a work sheet where they will have to match the faces with the feeling. Post - Task: The teacher will show the students some faces and they will have to say the feeling or emotion that the face represents.

Cooler (3-5 minutes) • To finish the lesson

Assign the students some homework and explain it.
