In this lesson, students learn about time phrases (prepositions of time: At-on-in-every) through based on . the lesson starts with . This is followd by individual and group exercises. Finally there is a whole class game as a form of practice.

Time phareses (3-5 minutes) • Introduce the context

Teacher ask students questions using examples sentences on the white board via printed pictures/printouts from the web to elicit the topic.

Match the items (8-10 minutes) • Focusing on time phrases (grammar)

Teacher regroup students to 4 groups, they are given slips of words and phrases and they need to match them in the correct circle. then check in teacher made handout answer key.

'Snap' card game (10-15 minutes) • Practise time phrases

Put students into pairs. Give A student A set of words and to student B set of time prepositions. Both students put down a card on the table in front of them at the same time. If the cards match, the first student to say Snap! get a point.

Do you... / Choose the correct words (10-15 minutes) • Vocabulary and Grammar drill

Students work in three groups. Teacher give example and then hand students copy of student exercise no. 10 (pages, 106, 114, 120). Followed by controlled FB.
