Description

In this lesson ss will know about the grammer (present simple) through speaking about their daily routine.and then after work on productive skill i will clarify grammer .after aims are completed i will test them by asking questions.

Main Aims

  • Grammer. Simple present
  • To provide simple present tense in the context of the speaking

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide specific information for speaking using their own experiences for speaking about their habits and routines
  • To provide practice in the context of Daily routine

Procedure

Warmer/ lead in (3-6 minutes) • To engage students

Enter the class and after greeting. Ask ss about their interests and their personality.

First test (3 minutes) • Diagnostic

Ask ss to know their level of speaking . Give them a test to know how much english they know.

Teaching grammer (5-10 minutes) • To teach the ss the use of verb

Use grammer file , demonstrate it by sharing your screen in skype. Use modal sentences. Current habits: mary walks to work. To talk about how often things happen: zara doesn’t cook very often. Permanent situations: my father works in university. Fact and truth: water boils at 100 degrees.

Controlled practice (3 minutes) • To concept check and prepare ss for giving examples

Ask ss ccq to carefully assess whether they cared about the class or not. Can i use walk simple verb for the actions that will happen in the future? No why not?

Free practice (5-6 minutes) • To provide ss with free practice of the target language

Use the routin verbs to let the ss make sentences. Ask ss to make up a line and send to the skype to her clasmate check it and let them speak about it.
