Procedure

warm up (10-15 minutes) • set the context of future plans

after greetings,the T gives students a paper with five pictures on it and tells them this is my weekend plans and asks them to guess his plans.SS are put in groups and talk about the picture then by using the bee hive method students change groups and share.then the T tells them his plans and uses presnet progressive to signal the grammar the group who has the best guess wins

Teaching { form , meaning,pronunciation} (10-15 minutes) • teach blocking words neccessary to understand the task practising speaking and listeningn

pre teach : the T shows them a video of a commercial and teaches the word the T shows a picture of fast forward icon and fastforwards the commercial video, ccq : do i watch it carefully? is it on t.v or radio? the teacher tells the SS we have a conversation in our book two people are talking about thier plans the T shows a picture of the two people and asks them to guess what the conversation is about. and asks students : what are thier plans?and what kind of shows they watch ? then the T plays the audio and gets feedback ,students open thier books the audio is played agian SS check thier answers and the student who guessed right gets is given credit The T clalrifies and explains any other problems that ss might have next the SS are paired up and role play the conversation.the

Teaching { form , meaning,pronunciation} (15-20 minutes) • teaching grammar

the teachrer gives students a paper with for time expressions on it and asks SS to go through the conversation to see what the speaker is doing in that time,the teacher boards the sentences and draws a border and shows the activities on it and asks : does the speaker have the time ? is it fixed? do we know the time? then the form is presnted : Subject + to be + verb + ING then the negetive and question form is taught : Subject + Be + not + verb + ing to be + subject + verb + ing then SS read the grammar chart and do the exercise . SS check thier answers and check under their desks where the answers have been written on a sticky note

Freer practice (25-30 minutes) • Ss will use the grammar and errors are treated

1.students will be given a paper on which a time table is written : tomorrow ,the day after tommorrow... SS write thier plans on it and then they are paired with thier seats back to back and pretend to make a phone call and ask each other thier plans.the S with the most plan is the winner 2.. Sorry, I’m Just So popular! One student should turn down all invitations to do something together by saying they are too busy. They should use a different excuse each time, i.e. they can’t just say “I’m meeting my girlfriend” each time. The game continues until one of the two people runs out of ideas. This can also be used as a bluff game with the person who is refusing using a mix of real and made up excuses student with the most excuses wind
