Procedure (22-22 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and to get students interested.
Teacher posts 3 pictures on WB(one man, one woman,and a couple)Teacher explains they are teacher's friends.Teacher elicits form sts what they can see.
Reading (2-3 minutes) • To give sts practice in scan reading.
Teacher shows sts the text HO. Asks sts to read and match the paragraphs to the correct picture.WCFB to check the answers.
Reading (5-6 minutes) • To give students practice in reading for detail.
Sts read the text again and answer true/false questions.Sts check answers in pairs.WCFB to check answers together.
Grammar Presentation (5-0 minutes) • To present the present simple affirmative
Teacher elicit example sentences of the present simple with all subject pronouns on to the WB.Teacher elicits from sts whent to use "s" and highlights on WB.
Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language
