New lesson plan: Vocabulary lesson

This lesson is a vocabulary lesson. Most of the vocabulary of this lesson focus on phrasal verbs.

At the end of the lesson the ss will have practised some phrasal verbs in meaningful sentences.

Lead-in • To set lesson context and engage students

Give the ss a picture and some questions below to discuss these questions in pairs.

Pre-teach • to teach and introduce some new vocabulary ; make up his mind- sort out- concerned - come up- sympathetic- talk over- think over-

Elicit the words from the ss and give them a chance to guess before telling them the word.
