In this lesson Ls learn to use want to + be to describe what someone wants to be

Materials

Main Aims

  • To provide clarification, review and practice of want to + be in the context of job

Subsidiary Aims

  • As long as i am teaching, i should pay attention to the children's attention to the lesson and try not to have a boring class

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (4-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Techer shows them a video and then ask them Icq what should you do right now? Are you going to open your mic and answer or type? when the Ss watch movie ask this question 1_what does Anne want to be in future? 2_what does John want to be when he grow up?

Test #1 (2-5 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

Teacher should shows a task that Ss match sentences with picture individuality and told them they should number with letter and write them in chatbox. then ask Icq are you going to tell the answer or write them in the chat box? when they finish write in chatbox and check in class

Teach (10-15 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

Teacher shows a power point to describe a Grammar and after that Ss go to book and do part 11 and 12 individuality and then check with partner and after that we check in class

Test #2 (5-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

Teacher wants Ss to fill the gap Teacher shows a power point and on that powerpoint Ss should answer question

Free practice (10-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
