Text work - GIst (5-7 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

T shares Gist form T explains he will play audio about a situation; ss will have to answer the general question ("What is the conversation about?") T elicits answers

Text work - Intensive (4-6 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

T shares form Intensive Ss read the instructions Ss answer the questions Ss go to breakout rooms to compare answers (1 minute) Ss share the answers with the whole class
