Shopping - men love it
In this lesson Ss learn to talk about activities they like and love . Students also read an article which says that shopping is popular with both men and women, but that they do it in different ways . The lesson finishes with Students talking about what free time activities they like and dislike.
By the end of this lesson, the SS will have practiced the meaning, pronunciation, and form of the new words in the context of "Presenting Your Opinion"
By the end of this lesson, the SS will have practiced the meaning, pronunciation, and form of the new words in the context of "comparing between men's shopping and women's shopping "
By the end of the lesson, the ss should have practiced speaking for fluency in the context of "Shopping and activities they like to do"
Procedure (29-40 minutes)
Lead in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Ask students some questions such as do you like shopping ? Who love shopping in your family ? Do men like shopping ?
Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a Text or situation
Ask students how long do men spend shopping ? What do they love ? What do they hate
Highlighting and clarification (10-15 minutes) • Provid students with meaning and pronunciation of the new words
Display pictures relates to the topic of lesson then make Ss guess what is this ? , Then give them definition of each word and ask them to repeat after me to be sure that they pronounce it probably. After that i will give them CCQS to be sure that they understand the meaning of each word
Controled practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check the meaning and pronunciation of the new words
I will give them exercise about these new words
