In this lesson ss will learn about the levels of certainty and will practice making prediction in the context of Future society. The ss will practice speaking to reflect on what they have learnt.

Procedure

Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T: Yesterday, my mom kept telling me that I need to clean up my room but I was so lazy that I have decided to stay in bed and do no thing. I started daydreaming about the future. I believe in the future we will have tiny robots walking all around the house to clean our mess. T:What do you think we're talking about today? S:The future T: Great. for the robots thing, are we sure that this will happen? S: No T: what do we call things that we think might happen in the future but we aren't sure about them? S:Predictions If they didn't say it, provide them with the name. In pairs, can you discuss your predictions for the future and why do yo think that? Open Pair demonstration T: S, ask s " What do yo think will happen in the future and why?" S answer Repeat process with different students T : S, do you have any thing in common? Pre-teach vocabulary (2-3 minutes) • To clarify some of the words that could be troublesome

Language Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the task language
