-- T shares slide 2 with SS -- T says "okay, now you're going to be working in pairs in breakout rooms. You'll have three minutes to plan a vacation for a travel agency. You'll have to come up with a destination, and then come up with activities for people to do at the destination." -- T says "remember, you have three minutes" -- T puts SS into breakout rooms -- T drops into breakout rooms throughout the three minutes -- SS reconvene after the three minutes -- SS groups share their locations and activities

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

-- T shares slide 3 with SS -- T says "okay, now you're going to be working in pairs in breakout rooms again. This time, you'll have three minutes to come up with a plan to try to sell your vacation. You'll do this by asking clients questions like "Do you like taking risks? Do you like relaxing? If you do, I have the perfect vacation for you!"." -- T says "remember, you have three minutes" -- T puts SS into breakout rooms -- T drops into breakout rooms throughout the three minutes -- SS reconvene after the three minutes -- SS groups share their marketing plan

Clarification (5-7 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

-- T shares slide 4 -- T says "Okay, now we're going to review some vocabulary so that you have more words to use in our next activities." -- T goes over MFP for "Flight" -- T goes over MFP for "Destination" -- T goes over MFP for "travel agency" -- T goes over MFP for "to rent" -- T goes over MFP for "yacht" -- T says "You may find these words helpful when we do our next few activities"

Controlled Practice (10-12 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

-- T shares slide 5 -- T says "Okay, now in pairs, you're going to come up with a story using the previous five words we reviewed." -- T says "You will have five minutes to come up with this story with your partner in breakout rooms" -- T asks how much time the SS will have -- T puts students in breakout rooms -- T visits each breakout room -- After five minutes everyone returns to main session -- One SS from each group shares their story using the vocab -- T tells the SS that they did a good job

Semi-Controlled Practice (5-6 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

-- T shares slide 6 -- T says "Okay, now individually, you're going to answer the question "If you could travel anywhere, where would you go"." -- T says "You will have two minutes to come up with an answer" -- T asks how much time the SS will have -- After two minutes everyone should have an answer -- SS share their answers -- T tells the SS that they did a good job

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
