To provide reading and writing practice using business cards and forms in the context of personal information
To get the students to be familiar with presentation of personal information
Procedure (44-59 minutes)
T will put the pictures and business cards on the board and ask Ss to match pictures to the business cards.
-T gives the small business cards and HOs and Ss work individually and then check with their pairs. -T checks.
-T gives matching exercise HOs about when to use capital letters -Ss work in pairs -T checks answers with the class
-T groups SS and gives one envelope-containing strips of papers with sentences on- to each group -Ss take it in turn to take one sentence from the envelope and add capital letters to it -T gives an answer key for sts to check with and take home
-T gives hotel form HOs, Ss look at the business cards given previously and complete the hotel form -Ss check in pairs
-T gives hotel form 2 HOs -Ss work in pairs, ask their partners questions, get answers and note on their forms
-Ss change pairs -T gives hotel form 2 HOs -Ss do the same exercise with different partners
