Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Display three images of different work office setups. Ask students to differentiate between them probe questions like Since the pandemic occurred, have you been working from home? allow for discussion (brief)

Exposure- Audio recording (3-5 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Allow students to listen to the first 30 seconds of the track Share screen with an audio script to show highlighted target language Ask the students if they understood what an open office was. provide meaning comprehension questions through Wordwall OCFB

Clarification (4-6 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Articulate Meaning Form or Pronunciation using Jamboard Offer Wordwall exercises to word independently use pairs to review answers (larger class/small class leave in the main room) OCFB

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Have students properly arrange sentences, so they have the correct form. Independently assess progress with each student Engage in various word wall activities to ensure proper forms of SINCE and FOR are used in the blanks.

Free Practice (3-4 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Discuss in groups One student will discuss if they worked in an open space environment Another student will discuss their preference for working independently or in openspaces.

Delayed Error Correction (3-5 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice
