Main Aims

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will ask students to predict what the lesson is about

Exposure (3-4 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

T asks students to read text for gist/basic understanding and be able tell what is is about.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

T asks students to underline all examples of the target language (future tenses) and properly identify it

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
