Revising & contrasting verbs: ing- & to
Pre-Intermediate (A2) level

In this lesson, students will begin by watching a short clip about ordering in a restaurant. The clip will be paused and they will have to think about what will happen next. This will make them think and lead-in to the lessonĀ“s main aim of revising & contrasting verbs -ing & to. The students will then receive a Google Form and will have to answer the questions while reading the text. Marker sentences will be used to explain the grammar points of verbs with -ing & to. This will be followed by MFP. After that there will be controlled practise of the lesson topic followed by freer practise. This will ensure that they have practised the grammar points while also improving their verbal communication skills.
