Warm up (3-5 minutes) • To set the lesson and get the ss intersred

Review the family members from the previous lesson and elicit some sentences about the relationships between them.

Lead -in (4-6 minutes) • To prepare the ss for the new lesson , apostrophe s

Give the ss six sentences about the they relationships between the family members from the previous lesson and let them decide if they are true or false with some focus on the possessive apostrophe s

Presentation (8-12 minutes) • To introduce the use of apostrophe s with family members

*Write the 5 sentences on the board and have the ss decide what apostrophe s means. * The place of the apostrophe i.e before or after s, with one and two names....

Practice (7-10 minutes) • To give the ss opportunity to practice using the apostrophe freely with each other

* Giving the a sheet of paper and have them practice them in group work

Listening practice (5-6 minutes) • To have ss practice to some specific information related to one member of Robinson's famiy

*Have the ss look at the pictures on page 17 and guess who are the people * have the ss listen to the interview and check their ansers

Closure (5-6 minutes) • To recap what have been learned in the lesson

* Ask ccq and check on the board
