  • To provide fluency and accuracy of speaking about living in Cairo or Sharm ElShiekh

Subsidiary Aims

  • listening to the conversation between Ptrick and Juliet.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The teacher will ask about the summertime; students will answer from their own experience. Do you travel a lot? What is the best place you have been to? Have you been to Sharm ElShiekh?

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

the teacher will demo the activity then play the recording. Ss are asked to answer the questions. Teacher asks them to check in pairs. then, they can check their answers from the board.

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

the teacher will demo the activity as three of them will be agents for three famous hotels in Sharm ElShiekh. Each couple will listen to the offers and amenities of each hotel and ask some questions about the hotels like "what kind of food do you serve?" how many pools do you have?" " is the hotel overlooking the sea?". finally they will choose the best one.

Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

ss will be asked to speak about the opinions of Sharm Elshiekh and the other tourist attraction places.The teacher will monitor the students' accuracy and fluency through practice. demo why some sentences are wrong and correct them.
