To provide practice of language used for showing interest in the context of four weekends.
To provide accuracy speaking practice in a conversation in the context of weekend
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
T show ss 3 lies and a truth about himself, ss choose which one is true. T asks ss about their weekends, how do they go, are they fun or boring, and how they usually spend their weekends. T nominate ss to talk about their weekends before they start the lesson.
T will prepare ss for the text, T tells ss about the speakers in the audios and what they are talking about.
T will ask students to answer ex3.a while reading
T will ask students to answer ex3.b individually and then check their answers in pairs. T will show them the answer key.
Ss will be asked to make notes on some words and they will use the sentences in their conversation, they will work in pairs, and language and content feedback will be provided.
