Reading and listening TP
Upper intermediate level

Description

In this lesson the SS will develop their reading skills by scanning reading and reading for details. T will lead in the lesson by telling a personal story about being saved, followed by a picture of the clinging woman so they can predict what the rest of the lesson will be about. T will then ask them to think about a moment were they were saved or saved someone. T will tell the SS to match pre teaching blocking vocabulary on Quizlet. The SS will then read the first part of the story and work with questions related to that. T will then ask CCQ´s. T will give the students some question related to the listening task. SS will listen to third part of the story and T will then elicit the answers before showing the AK. For freer practice, SS will be asked to write how they think the story will end. If it´s time left, at the end. SS will match lexis from the story and their synonyms.
