Show slide 3 Ask a SS to read these sentences: I wish you'd stop talking about the accident I wish I knew where she was I wish you were coming to the gig I just wish we could get a recording contract Ask the group if these sentences talk about imaginary situations in the present or future OR things that happened in the past. Elicit from SS which verb form follows I wish.
