Procedure

Lead in (4-7 minutes) • Warming up and engage students to the lesson

We use aids (flash cards) by raising them up and let students describe what they see and collect points for the correct sentences said by them as if it's a competition among them.

Reading 2 (5-7 minutes) • Read for gist and get the main core.

Show them the reading text and give them 3 minutes to know what's it talking about.then they answer questions and check together and finally I will check with them

Reading 2 (5-7 minutes) • Get the details and elicit the target language and relate them to the text.

Let students read this second time to be able to answer the controlled activity under our supervision to help struggling students to be better and feel more comfortable.first check students with their peers and the second we check with them.

Guided discovery (5-7 minutes) • Clarify the usage and the form of the present continuous and elicit the target language to drill and write.

Ask ccqs to elicit the target sentences ,for example: what's Stella doing? Where is she? They answer and U elicit the sentences to ask ccqs as is it happening now? Did it happen in the past? Or will it happen in the future? Then U repeat and make sure that they pronounce well and finally we write the sentences they say to show them the form and the usage ,using the time line.

Freer activity (3-5 minutes) • Use what they have taken in their speaking.

Students make a circle and pass a card and ask and answer the question of : what's he / she doing? Or where is he / she? so the sentences will stick in their minds because they repeated it and heard it several times
