Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Teacher starts the class by asking students 2 questions: If you had the opportunity to work in a different country which one would it be? And what will you miss from your country of origin? Students discuss via breakout rooms OCFB

Exposure (4-8 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Students read the textand answer a question using google forms Read the article. What does the writer think are the hardest things to deal with in Mongolia? Answer Key: the food and the cold winters OCFB

Highlighting (4-6 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Teacher hands out an intensive reading task to obtain your samples of TL.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Teacher conducts MFPA using google slides, T elicits difference between TL acquired from previous activity and a timeline to explain meaning. Form is shown and T elicits some examples from Ss Production is conducted

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Teacher hands out a gap filling task on google forms Students make the task individually and then do pair work to check answers OCFB

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Teacher gives Ss final activity in which they will practice TL by making and answering questions along with their classmate. OCFB DEC
