Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will show some images to ss and ask them to describe in breakout rooms what the people in those images are doing.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

I will present vocabulary related to jobs and work and then I will show some images about different works, ss will work in pairs to try and match the name of the job with the image.

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

I will present some vocabulary related to adjectives that can be used to describe jobs and then I will have ss answer a question with a partner and then switch them. "Think about a job you like, tell your partner about that job, what you do and why do you like it" Do you consider that work is… Easy Hard Heavy Time consuming Exhausting Well paid

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

I will show 3 different images of people at different jobs, I will send students to BR and they have to answer the following questions. - What are this jobs? - Describe the first image, what is happening? - Describe the second image, what is the man doing? - Describe the third image, what is the man doing? - Which one do you consider the hardest? Why? - Which of these jobs would you prefer to have? - Do you think these jobs are well paid? They will switch partner at the mark of 10 minutes.

Feedback and Error Correction (3-5 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

I will set some sentences and ask students if they think they are correct. - This job pays well - He is a hard worker - I doesn’t like my occupation And also I will try to write some mistakes that I heard while monitoring.
