Warmer/Lead-in (5-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T will share screen of a google site with a text of a dialogue and a short google form that checks for understanding T Instruction: "Here is a dialogue, it is below the picture of the elephant in the same link I've already sent. This task is different than the one we just finished about the elephant but they are related. Keep this in mind as you are working" "Read through this text and answer the questions below after you have finished, The questions ask about photos A-D. Do this in 5 minutes" "When you have finished answering the questions send me a thumbs up emoji, and then check your answers with your partner in breakout rooms" ICQ- "What do you do after you have finished reading?" Answer questions Ss work individually for 5minutes Ss check their answers in pairs for 2minutes OCFB T shares screen of google slides answer key and asks if there are questions about meaning. Then read these sentences about Easter Island and rephrase the sentences on the right. You have 5 minutes. Work individually and then check your answers with your partner in breakout rooms. Send me a thumbs up when you have completed the task" ICQ: Are you writing answers or is this multiple choice? One person makes a suggestion and your partner can either agree or offer a different theory.
