T elicits the words that can be unfamiliar for the students. T:' You have learned many vehicles like, car, bus and so on but think abour bus, metro, train, minibus what do we call them?' Teacher tries to elicit the word 'public transport' She drills them after getting the word. T: 'think you are out of here and will take the metro, how will you go to metro?' T can draw stairs on the WB and tries to elicit 'escalator' (Most probably they won't be familiar with the word.) T drills it after eliciting. T: 'Think that you are using public transport everyday, there is a special cards in Turkey and they are cheap, what do we call the people that use these cards and public transportaion everyday?' T: 'you are going to listen to a report, I want you to listen and tell me if the commuter is a man or a woman.' After the finish they discuss with their partners, T gives a workseet on the lsitening activity and asks Sts to circle the correct option. After they do the listening and matching they are going to do peer check. When the students finish teacher gives out the script of the listening and by reading they will check their answers again.

Activity worksheet on big numbers. (3-4 minutes) • In this stage by reading the numbers students will decide which number is bigger.

T shows the STS a WS. 'I want you to look at these numbers and decide which number is bigger, and circle the big one.' Teacher will demonstrate first one for the STS. When they finish they listen and repeat the numbers.

Board Rush Game (2-3 minutes) • In this stage students will play a game on the big numbers.

They can have a difficulty to write so T can write some questions on the board. In İstanbul which vehicles we have for public transportation ? Are they easy to use? Why/Why not?
