Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will show the students some images to elicit the lesson's topic. Then, I will have them discuss the question "Why support a team?" in pairs in the breakout rooms.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

I will have students match some phrases with their grammar rules in pairs using Jamboard via breakout rooms before OCFB

Language Analysis (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

First I will explain the MFP, and then I will have students practice pronunciation in a general group

Task (6-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice the skills

I will have students work on a gap-filling activity in pairs using google slides in breakout rooms before OCFB

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language

I will have students read paragraphs of a text related to the topic and give an explanation of how the articles are used in google forms in pairs via breakout rooms before OCFB
