in this lesson students learn about how to make a sentence about the future and about the events that doesn't happen yet.in the future simple tense we talking about the action that will being and end in the future . the lesson starts with a discussion about the future and what they want to be and what they want to do in the future . this is followed by a listening that it is about person who is dream what will happen in the future.finally there is some activities and games like playing with the flash cards for learning the grammars

Main Aims

  • To provide clarification of the future simple tense in the context of will . wont . be going to . shall . yesterday . right now . soon . this year . future . last week .and ....

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide practice of language used for conversation. question and answer in the context of will . wont . be going to . shall .

Procedure

Warmer (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

in the beginning of the class , i will ask them about the future and what they want to do in the future ? i want to check how much they know about future grammatical form and how they use the the words

Exposure (5-8 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

we can ask the students to imagine themselves in the future and after that we can ask them to explain the future that they imagine . or we can give them a text about [ how to travel in the time ] and make their mind ready to talk about the time tense .

Highlighting (4-7 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

by playing different videos from past simple and present simple and future simple and ask them which one was the future simple and in which sentence you can find a future simple grammar . or give them a text and ask them to highlight the sentences that it's used future simple tense .

Clarification (2-4 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

for clarifying the pronunciation I prefer to read the correct pronunciation in the first step and after that students to repeat after me . also i will write and pronounce the normal and the abbreviation pronunciation and ask the students to repeat after me

Controlled Practice (5-8 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

for this part I prefer to play a game with different boxes . in each box we have different parts of a sentence like : verb , subject , to be verbs and so on . in each box depends on the subject of the box there is about 20 pieces of papers and each student choose a paper and go for the next box and in the last students have a complete sentence and the students have to read it loudly .

Free Practice (4-7 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

for the last five minutes of the class I prepare different questions with [ will and be going to ] and make the students in two groups . one group read the question and the another group answer the question , and vice versa .
