Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (1-2 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

- Before the start of class, T shows a clip of the Titanic Movie. -T greets students. - T asks Ss if they know the genre

Exposure (2-3 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through an image

- T gives Ss different pictures and wants them to guess the genre in groups. - T asks ICQs if needed. - T monitors - T gives feedback

Highlighting and clarification (8-9 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

-T gives FB and elicit the new words from Ss. - T asks CCQs - T does the drilling chorally and individually - T writes the form and mark the stress

Controlled Practice (4-5 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

First controlled practice: - T wants Ss to match the pictures to the words. - T asks ICQs, if needed. - T wants Ss to check their answers in pairs. - T monitors - T does the feedback with AK. Second controlled practice: -T wants Ss to fill in the gaps. - T asks ICQs, if needed. - T wants Ss to check their answers in pairs. - T monitors - T does the feedback.

Semi- Controlled Practice (3-4 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

- T wants Ss to do the activity in pairs. -T asks ICQs if needed. -T monitors. - T gives FB.

Free practice (4-5 minutes) • To provide Ss with an opportunity to respond to the context and expand on what they've learned

-T wants Ss to talk about their favorite movies. -T gives Ss prompt to extend their speaking time - T monitors

Error Correction (2-3 minutes) • To give students feedback addressing any grammar or lexical issues spotted in the group work

- T monitors carefully and writes down any errors Ss make with pronunciation and... - T does the error correction as delayed feedback.
