In this speaking lesson the students will have the opportunity to practice their productive skills in the context of entrepreneurship through guided discovery of new challenging language and the implementation of it in their speech.

Main Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of entrepreneurship

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide clarification of business lexys in the context of entrepreneurship


Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will instruct Ss to look at some images (check appendix 1 )and have them discuss in groups of 2 or 3 what this images are showing and what they have in common.

Content preparation (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks.

Students will work in groups of 2 or 3 in BOR and talk about the stages for a successful entrepreneurship (check appendix 2).

Language Clarification. (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

Teacher will guide students to discovering MFPA for challenging lexis that will be used for the coming productive task.

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Students will work in gorups of 2 or 3 and talk about starting a business, they will answer a series of questions related to starting a business (See appendix 3) while using the language adquired in previous stages of this lesson.

Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

T gives feedback on good language T provied correction of some mistakes made during the post -reading activity. T asks if students have questions and adresses them if they do. T thanks ss for their time
