To provide vocabulary words (have , get , go) in the context of Daily routines
To provide accuracy speaking practice in the context of Daily routine.
Procedure (35-44 minutes)
T will first start the lead-in by introducing Leila to the students. T will tell the SS to look at the picture and do ICQ's: what do you see in the pictures? what do you think Leila is talking about? what does Leila's typical day look like? T will try try to elicit the word routine or daily routines from the students.
T will first instruct the students to look at the expression she used. T will take an example from one of the sentences "have breakfast" and show it in the next slide. the teacher will ask the students what does she mean by having breakfast then ask if have in this sentence is a noun an adjective is stressed or not what if Leila is talking about the past. T will elicit from students examples of expression asking them about one or two of their daily routines. so that T can elicit from them collocations T will emphasize that usually, these expressions go together. T will follow up with go and get and do the same steps as have.
T will now show the first activity which is to fill the gaps. T will first instruct the SS to open their chatbox and ask the SS to open the link of the learning app. T will also share it on the screen to demonstrate to the SS that they should tik on the empty gap and choose one of the three choices (went, had, got). T will do ICQ's: what are you going to do for this activity? etc.. They will first do it on their own then T will send them into breakout rooms to check their answers. T will monitor after that and will quickly elicit from them answers and tell them o take a screenshot.
T will now show the SS on the share screen more expression. T tells the ss that they have to match the words on the box have or go or get with the appropriate phrases. T will tell the SS to do pair work for this activity first Twill do ICQ's what are you going to do? T will choose specific individuals to ask then will ask them if it's alone or with their comrades and this exercise will allow them to use the different expressions. and then T will send them into breakout rooms and monitor quietly then will elicit quickly the answers from the students and give further feedback if necessary.
T will now show the students pictures. T wrote different phrases describing the picture. T will grab first ss attention by saying that no taking pictures or screenshots are allowed. T will instruct the ss to look at the picture for one minute and try to memories them. T will automatically show the next slide where we have the pictures in an arbitrary way. T will now instruct the students that they would do pair work and that a student should choose a number of a picture and ask their comrade of the phrase or sentence that was written on it. T will tell the ss to take a picture then will send them into breakout rooms and monitor quietly.
T will finish the class with a productive task where they will speak about their own routines they have to choose at least 5 things they did last week wit had gone or got. T will first show in the share screen an example of what they should do then follow with ICQ's what are you going to do? etc... T will instruct them that they would do pair work for this activity and that should tell T about their friend's routines.
