to speak about the past using regular verbs
Procedure (45 minutes)
T introduces the topic ( time twins) T elicits the meaning from the student T shows pictures of time twins . Ss guess the similarities and differences in the twins lives.
Ss read some sentences about the twins and explain to each other
Ss have to find regular verbs in the text. Ss match the verbs with their infinitive form
T explains the rules and form of the verbs to Ss. Ss have to give more examples T drills the words and focuses on stress and ending sound Ss have to guess the ending sound of the some verbs in pairs. T focuses on the form of positive,negative and question form of past simple, T elicits the some examples from the students.
T gives Ss some exercises to do Ss check their answers in pairs. T gives feedback.
T gives Ss some prompts Ss asks questions from the other Ss Ss report back to class. T gives feedback
