T.V and Radio
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to listen for specific information and details better in the context of radio and T.V
• To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of radio and T.V programs.
Procedure (43-53 minutes)
I start by telling them about my morning with my dad and we were listening to the radio, but I prefer to watch T.V so I can watch my favorite shows. Then I ask them to discuss in pairs what they prefer and why.
Introduce words such as a buzzer, injured, a broken-down car, to propose by showing pictures and CCQs.
Ex 4: Page 60 Instructions: I will ask the students to listen to a program and write down the program type. CCQ: so what are you listening to now? And what do you have to write? Feedback: Nominating.
Ss listen again to the same type by for this time I will ask them to answer short answers. ICQ: are you going to listen again? Will you give long or short answers? Feeback: O/C
