Copy of Vocabulary Skills: Computers & Technology
Intermediate B1/B2 level

In this lesson, students will learn about computer vocabulary through E.C.D.W. process, discussion and reading. The lesson begins with a warmer where students walk around the room looking at pictures of different technology that they should name to set the context. This is followed by pre-teaching basic computer-related vocabulary to further set context. Students will then be introduced to vocabulary that is commonly collocated and meaning, form, and pronunciation will be covered, followed by a controlled practice to concept check ss understanding. More meaningful practice will follow and students will complete a questionnaire, tally their score, and then get into groups to read and discuss their result description. Finally students will have a free practice to analyze and discuss their results with their group and then share with the class.
