Procedure

Lead-in (3-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T shares his screen with SS. T shows a Google Jamboard page containing images of different places in the world and asks what they are about.

Sample analysis (4-5 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading

T shares his screen with SS. T asks SS to have a look at this kind of text and asks them what kind of text it it. T says it presents headline, introduction, body and conclusion. T sends SS a link to access this text through a Google document web page, then asks them to complete a very simple reading task on a Google form web page to understand its contents better.

Language (formulaic language) (5-6 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

T brings back the text and highlight the formulaic language used in this kind of text and how SS should use all of them to write down their own blog.

Writing (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

SS need to create their own blog about their most interesting trip.

Feedback and Error Correction (5-6 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

T gives SS a checklist to finish this lesson: a) Did your partner use correct expressions for writing a blog? b) Did your partner make you feel like visiting this place? Why? c) Did your partner include the correct sections?
