This is a (functional language practice ) whose intention is to provide Ss with opportunities to develop skills to interact with a text/recording using language to decide what to do (making decisions )

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I'm going to ask Ss the following questions : Why do you think we have these two different images ? Why do you think there's an image with a castle and in the other one there's a Safari ?

breakoutroom (3-5 minutes) • Ss are going develop speaking skills

I'll ask students to discuss their ideas about the questions of lead-in

Text Work ( [gist]intensive task) (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

I will start out by introducing the gist to The Ss in order to start exposing the context . I'll ask the learners the following questions : Why do you think we have these two different images ? Why do you think there's an image with a castle and in the other one there's a Safari ? There will 2 images , one of the Safari and one of the castle. afterwards I'm going to ask Ss to listen to the recording while they are going to fill the following gaps.
