Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T displays a picture of Australia, eliciting some pieces of information Ss have to speak about it with the heads-up that they can use the internet.

Exposure [ a listening task] (10-15 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through listening

T has the students listen while giving a mission to accomplish [ listening for gist] ss have to listen and check their answers T has to give them another task [for details: filling the gap] ss have to listen and check their answers

Useful Language (3-5 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks
