To introduce and practice the functional language ' what is the time'
to provide speaking practices of the target language.
Procedure (6-45 minutes)
The students will be shown a few pictures and make them speak about these pictures.
The students will listen the conversations and answer the the questions related to the conversations
A wall clock will be put on the WB, later the students will elicit the times in clock. And some questions will be written on WB and asked to answer these questions to be sure whether they elicit or not. In addition; there will be a lot drills.
The students will work in pairs and talk about a typical day using the functional language. Ex. What time do you get up? At 09.00 o'clock
.The roll of film will be sticted on the WB containing actions of the teacher. Also the times of the actions on the board. After that the students will work in groups and discuss at which times the teacher does the action .WCFD
The dart clock will be sticted on the WB and the students will throw the dart arrow on the dart clock. Then the students will tell what they do at this time.
