Lead-In • To introduce the target language in the context of popular culture and pique learners' interest in the topic.

Use visual- photo of Meghan Markle Ask: Can somebody tell me who this is? Use BORs to discuss: 1) What is Meghan Markle like? 2) What do you know about her?

Text task- Listening
Reading task- intensive • To practice reading for detail

To read the text and respond to the statements provided as either true or false.

M/F/P Questions with like • To review meaning, form and pronounciation of the target language.

Show slides with TL Review pronounciation

Controlled Practice • To provide practice writing the target language.

Answer questions (handout 2) individually then check answers in pairs.

Freer Practice • To provide practice speaking using the target language.

Discuss in BORs: If you were invited to attend Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding, would you go? Why or why not?
