To provide gist and detailed listening practice using a text about Taxis services in the context of Travel
Procedure (14-23 minutes)
- Greet the class and meet new Ss. - ask ss what they think about pic and taxis.
Providing ss with the knowledge of lexis that they might find difficult which will be used through the class. - Show some pictures in the presentation I prepared and ask questions to highlight the vocabulary. -What do you see in this picture? -What do you guess about pic? -What are they doing? They should repeat vocab & make sentence with these vocabulary
- ask ss find suitable dialogue Which of them for number .....?! It's for number one or two?? - why ?!
- ss have to listen and check right opinions And teacher ask CCQ Should you do it individually or in pairs?! Do you have three minutes or five minutes
-Give the instructions for the activity. -ICQ ss will lesson carefully and find appropriate answer and check it in pairs
-ss have a free discussion and they're going to speak with partner after a few minutes one student will volunteer . -Monitor the Ss from behind and try to see their paragraph. Don't interfere them but be there if they have questions. If you have time you may focus on the errors they made while they were reporting back in the class.
