Description

In this session, i teach vocabulary . i stick some pictures on the board and i ask some questions from students. when the students undrestand the subject i want tell give a few examples of what they realized. after this work i tell the students to open their books and then i play the listening file . i ask the some words and when the students dont know the meaning of the words i let them use yhe dictionary.

Main Aims

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

At the start the session i engage students attention in the topic of the lesson which is 'abilities and requests '. first, i will pair the students and provide them with a HO of three different questions. 1: What do you do very well? 2: What do you like to do a lot? 3:In your opinion which occupation is good for you? which are related to the topic of the lesson and will personalize the topic as well so Ss will get more engaged with answering the questions which are related to their personal preferences. Ss will be discussing the questions in pairs for two minutes.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

I stick some pictures and words on the board and then i ask the students to arrange them. if the words and pictures are not connected properly, i ask the students to make them and after doing this, we start the lesson. i say to students open their books.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

In this part, i give some paper to students and i want do the exersice 2 . in exersice 2 their should write the three things about doing well or doing bad. then read the answer to each other .this part is related to the third exercise that should be done in pair work.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

In this part, i want most kids want to do the fourth exercise and tell the answer to each other. then i give some paper to them and in this paper a conversation has been written . at first i want read the conversation and say together and then their write the short conversation.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

In this part , i give a paper ti students and i want match them the some answer and some questions. i want to students match the questions individually and say the answer with their friends. after doing this part i give a chart and say do in groups and then say the answer in class. when the students write the chart and finish it i give the answer key.
