Procedure (35-45 minutes)
T shows S picture of a live performance (Adladin) and asks Ss Have you ever seen a live performance in a theatre? As a class, Ss share: What plays have you seen? or movies or series do you like watching? Can you find some adjectives to describe them? T repeats Ss answers using some of the target language.
T explains to class that they going to hear a conversation between three friends. Two who went to see a play and one they just ran into. T plays audio of conversation T sends Ss like to Google forms. T plays audio again and learners read and individually answer 10 multiple choice sentences that use the target language.
