Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

What is Rob’s problem? What two suggestions does Holly make? Have learners compare answers in pairs (via private messages) before OCFB

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Jamboard slide 5: Ss are given the task to fill in the blanks together and then read the finished conversations in pairs to practice pronunciation.
